The first convening organized by BC's Formative Leadership Education team was themed Radical Hope for Formative Character Education. We got the inspiration from Jonathan Lear's 2008 book of the same name. The convening was hosted at Boston College's campus in Chestnut Hill, MA.
The 2023 KPCEL Convening was themed Formative Leadership and Character Education with and through The Arts and took place at the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel in IL. You can peruse the program to find people across the network who have expertise in arts-based education and more.
The 2024 KPCEL Convening was themed Artificial Intelligence | Practical Wisdom, and hosted at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf in MA. Peruse the program to find fellow educators and leaders, who are innovating and grappling with Artificial Intelligence in higher education and K–12 contexts.
