Working Groups

Working groups are small communities of inquiry that meet regularly and in between KPCEL network convenings. The working groups are designed to generate shared insights and new ventures in the practice and theory of character education.

Each group has its own flavor and aims. However, all of the groups meet regularly in virtual spaces and work towards creating a breakout session for the year’s annual convening. The groups you see listed are the result of collaborations and conversations with network members. In addition, each is led by a member of the KPCEL network.

Current Groups

  • Creating the Conditions in Higher Education to Nurture Whole Person Development
  • Pedagogies for Character Formation
  • Reflection and Contemplation
  • Placed Based Character Education
  • K-12 Leadership for Character Education
